Female Sun Bear Rescued from Captivity

Batulicin (23/4) - A female sun bears rescued from captivity. This female sun bear is estimated to be three years old. Officers of South Kalimantan Nature Resource Agency evacuated the bear from its keeper on Jl. Hidayah, Semayap Village, District of North Sea Island, South Kalimantan. Mardiansyah as the owner,fortunately, is willing to hand over the creature voluntarily.
Evacuation team consisting of officers of Conservation Areas Section III Batulicin, Natural Resources Conservation Agency of South Kalimantan and members of the Police Sector North Sea island.

Recent News Release : 26 Bali Myna Released in Bali Barat National Park

Bear’s latest healt condition was unknown at the time it was rescued. For further examination, the bear was delivered to the Institute of Sustainable Conservation Jhonlin, South Kalimantan.
